Common Stain Removal Methods for Laundry shops

Every day, laundry shops face many clothes that they receive. Before batch washing, these clothes should be inspected separately. Special stains should be pre-treated first, and then washing machines or wet cleaning machines are used for batch washing.

Therefore, it is very important to know stains and know how to effectively remove them. Today, this article will introduce the pre-treatment methods for common stains to you.

Removal of Eyebrow Pencil Stains

If your clothes have eyebrow pencil stains:

Dampen the stained area with solvent gasoline → wash it off with soap solution containing ammonia → rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Removal of Hair Pomade Stains

Hair pomade is mainly composed of fats. If there is a hair pomade stain on your clothes, you can clean it with solvent gasoline or carbon tetrachloride.

For old and stubborn hair pomade stains:

heat the area over steam to soften the stain → clean it with solvent gasoline or carbon tetrachloride → place an old cloth or highly absorbent paper under the stained area to prevent the grease from spreading → scrub the stain

Removal of Nail Polish Stains

scrub the area with banana oil → the stain is mostly removed → clean it with tetrachloroethylene → wash the garment with a warm detergent solution → rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Removal of Hair Dye Stains

Hair dye is a type of acid dye, with particularly strong coloring power on wool fibers. Once it gets on clothes, it is extremely difficult to remove. It’s more noticeable on white garments. Depending on the fabric fiber type, you can use either sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide to oxidize the stain, which will effectively remove it.

Removal of Lipstick Stains

Use tetrachloroethylene/hot water to wipe away the oily component of the lipstick → wash the area with detergent → rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Removal of Petroleum Jelly Stains

Use a 10% aniline solution mixed with a small amount of laundry detergent → scrub the stained area thoroughly → rinse it well with clean water → the stain will disappear completely.

Removal of Vegetable Juice Stains

If you accidentally spill vegetable juice on your clothing while eating:

Apply solvent gasoline to the stained area → gently rub it with your hands to remove the oil → apply a 20% ammonia solution to the stain → rub gently by hand → the stain is clean → scrub the area with detergent → rinse thoroughly with clean water.

Removal of Yellow Clay Stains

Let the stain dry completely → rub it by hand or brush off the loose dirt → apply fresh ginger to the stained area → rub gently → rinse thoroughly with clean water → the yellow clay stain will be removed.

Before using the above stain removal methods, you must first check the fabrics of the clothes. Even if coated garments are stained with hair dye or nail polish, organic solvents like tetrachloroethylene should not be used. If you are unsure about the stain removal method, test it on a small, inconspicuous area of the clothing first.

After pre-treatment, the batch washing can be done. Kingstar wet cleaning machines can store 79 laundry programs, so that you can set scientific and reasonable washing procedures for different fabrics. This helps achieve fully automatic washing.
