When washing velvet clothes, laundry shops should note the following aspects.

  • Washing

Dry cleaning is recommended. If the fabric is washable, a wet washing machine can be used for washing. Staff first determine the fabric composition according to the labels of the fabrics, then choose suitable washing programs. Due to the characteristics of the velvet, it is recommended to choose the gentle washing mode of the wet cleaning machine.

  1. Use neutral or silk-specific detergent.
  2. Wash in cold water or warm water around 30℃.
  3. Do not soak for a long time.
  4. Avoid scrubbing with a scrubbing board or a board brush.

It is not advisable to scrub vigorously or scrub hard with a hard-bristled brush. Instead, staff should use a soft-bristled brush to scrub gently along the direction of the bristles.

  • Storage

When storing the corduroy, people should not put heavy items on the corduroy to keep the pile full and upright. Ironing should also be avoided.

Pure Cotton

Pure cotton is a fabric that can be used in any season. With the innovation of technology, pure cotton fabric can not only provide a comfortable and breathable wearing experience in summer, but also be made into warm winter clothes.

It is a fabric produced from cotton through textile processes. It has characteristics like moisture absorption, moisture retention, heat resistance, alkali resistance, and hygiene. Also, it has good moisture absorption and heat resistance, and is comfortable to wear.

When staff washes corduroy clothes, the following aspects should be noted.

  • For washing, alkaline or neutral detergents can be used.

Hand washing or industrial washing machines are suitable, but do not scrub vigorously to avoid deformation of the clothes.
