  • Washing
  1. Water washing

Silk clothes are made of protein-rich, delicate and health-preserving fibers. It should not be rubbed on rough objects or washed in a washing machine. It should be immersed in the cold, clean water for 5 to 10 minutes. Use special silk detergents or low-foaming laundry powder or neutral soap and gently rub. (If it is small fabrics, then a good shampoo is also fine.) Colorful silk clothes can be rinsed repeatedly in clean water.

  1. Drying

People should not use sunlight to dry wet silk clothes or use a dryer. The silk should be hung in a well-ventilated place because the ultraviolet rays in sunlight easily make the silk clothes turn yellow, faded, and old. Also, the washed silk clothes should not be wrung out. Instead, they should be gently shaken open and spread out with the opposite side to dry. Only when they are about 70% dry should they be ironed or shaken flat.

It is more eco-friendly and is not easy to generate static electricity or pilling. It is very suitable for making noble gowns, silk scarves, etc.

  • Care

Acetate is non-electrified. It is not easy to adsorb dust in the air. Dry cleaning, water washing, and hand washing at temperatures below 40 degrees are all fine. It overcomes the disadvantages of silk and wool fabrics, such as being prone to bacteria and dust, and only being suitable for dry cleaning. It also avoids the drawback of wool fabrics being easily infested by insects. It is easy to maintain and store. Moreover, acetate has the resilience of wool fabrics and the smooth feeling when touched by hand.

The pH value of milk yarn is 6.8, which is slightly acidic. People should use water whose temperature is below 30 degrees Celsius to hand wash (If the laundry powder is used, you can add some white vinegar when scrubbing to neutralize the alkaline components in the detergent) and do not use ammonia bleaching. After washing, lay it flat to dry. If ironing is needed, iron it with a backing cloth at a temperature below 120 degrees.

Memory Fiber

Memory fibers have a relatively high density and possess a unique memory function. They are highly restorable, resistant to ultraviolet rays and pollution. They also have a waterproof function, making them easy to maintain and wash. However, this kind of fabric is not heat-resistant.

  2. Do not scrub, twist, or shake vigorously. Do not use a washing machine (the fabric contains metal wires, and when cut, the metal wires will be cut along with it. If rubbed, the metal wires may be exposed in the seams). Gently rub and soak with neutral detergent for 3 minutes, then lay it flat to dry. Spray at a low temperature or do not iron.

Satin

Satin fabric is mainly composed of polyester. Its hand feel is just like silk. Its surface is lustrous and bright. It has good drape and is not easy to wrinkle. When spandex filament is added to the fabric, it is called elastic satin, which is more comfortable to wear. But this kind of fabric may fade.
